One of my favorite questions is, “What is Latitude 61N?” People ask me this all the time. I love being asked this question because I get to tell my story and talk about my passions at the same time!

If you’re wondering the same thing, let me fill you in. Anchorage, Alaska sits at 61N Latitude on the globe. I was born and raised in Anchorage and it continues to remain a special place to me even after moving down to the Lower 48 in 2016. I moved to Denver, Colorado after graduating from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a degree in Aviation Science Air Traffic Control in hopes of pursuing a career in Air Traffic Control. I currently work for the FAA as a Remote Pilot Operator at Denver International Airport, training new air traffic controllers. I have always been passionate about aviation and becoming a drone pilot fits right into the mold of my current lifestyle of aviation and film.

Outside of work I enjoy being in the great outdoors doing anything from skiing, camping, fishing, rock climbing, and playing hockey. It doesn’t hurt that I love to film these activities as well! Starting a business as a drone pilot, I now get to combine two of my greatest passions, aviation and filming. Email me and let’s fly!
